I do not have a road bike ,just a mountain bike . i am curious if anyone has done this one a mountain bike before ?

Ryan, I can assure you that many people have ridden the Cabot Trail on mountain bikes. If that’s what you are comfortable on, it will be great. Mountain bikes are a bit slower on the road, but with the lower gearing, they can be easier to get up the hills. A lot of people will switch their tires for something a little narrower with higher pressure to make their mountain bikes a lot more efficient.
