  1. I was out shooting the time trial, and race today, and have completed editing and posting the photos I took on my site. If you could please let the racers involved know that this has been done, I would be very grateful. Congratulations on a well-executed and successful race today, I look forward to hopefully participating in it myself next year.

    Kind Regards

  4. Thank-you to Bill, John and the dozens of volunteers that once again put on a first-class event. Despite the rain and wind, it was a great day!

  5. That man in the Jeep was Lonnie Jones. I needed a few things done quickly, and he did whatever I asked. Was a great help. I think extremely bad weather makes events better in some ways. It makes it easy to start a conversation with a stranger, gives great memories. You and John can talk about that for a long time…it wasn’t pleasant, but it felt good to see that people would come and put themselves through that, knowing there was a virtual guarantee of horrible weather.

  6. Thanks guys, this was a great event. I had a fantastic time despite crashing out of the race.

I have one suggestion for next year: Could you have the feed zone going the other way towards the start/finish area? Having it on the “wall” meant that if you wanted to take a bottle you pretty much removed yourself from the primes.

  7. Thanks for your comment Wayne. We’re glad you made the trip regardless of the weather.

Your suggestion is a very good one. We will rethink that for next year. We may be moving the entire race to “mix things up” a bit, and we want to have a 2 day 3 stage event. We will improve the race every year, as long as people want to race and give us the feedback.
